  • Welcome to the homepage of Statistical Training Institute(SHI).
  • Every one of us in SHI is doing our best to provide various curriculims, comfortable education facilities,and highly trained teaching staff.
  • Statistics Human Resources Development Institute is national organization of Korea that offers professional educational lectures to national and local officer along with Korea National Statistical Office staff members. SHI provides educations on various statistical theories, statistical practice, and usage of statistical packages. SHI also offers statistical courses to students, journalists, and the general public.
  • SHI is cooperating with the United Nations Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific(SIAP) and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in arranging statistical training courses for foreigners. Along with SIAP and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), SHI is administering "Regional training courses" to workers in developing countries in order to improve their statistical skills.
  • The SHI building meets the requirements to satisfy the increasing demand for statistical education. It is equipped with spacious and luxurious lecture rooms, a convenient dormitory that can hold 300 trainees, and state of the art technical equipment for lectures.
  • The 21st century is the era of information and knowledge. As a result, statistics is essential to the information-oriented world. As a leading human resources development institute on statistics, SHI will assist you to be an individual who corresponds with the scientific and rational mind of the new world.
